ATHENA Awards

We honor leaders locally, nationally, and globally. Almost 8,000 leaders including a Supreme Court Justice, Olympic medalist, NASA astronaut , and CEO’s have been recognized. ATHENA International hosts three types of awards. You can read about each award below or click here to learn more.

1. ATHENA Award Programs: Honoring Leaders In Your Local Community

Our award program is designed to honor women and men for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. By creating a local award program, you send a clear message that your organization invests in your community and its growth by identifying and honoring its leaders.

2. ATHENA National Leadership Award

ATHENA International recognizes leaders who have made a National impact on our mission of developing, supporting and honoring women leaders and those who inspire them to reach their full potential. Our past recipients include leaders making an impact such as public health advocate Dr. Mona Hana-Attisha, Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall and journalist Laura Ling. 3. ATHENA Global Leadership Award

ATHENA International recognizes leaders who have made a Global impact on our vision of creating balance in leadership worldwide. Our past recipients include leaders making an impact such as Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Astronaut Christina Koch and Microsoft Executive Gavriella Schuster. ATHENA International's Leadership Program Cohorts

Our gold standard ATHENA Leadership Program is a leadership development and enhancement program created to meet you anywhere along your leadership journey. The learning experience we provide uses our trusted framework and philosophy to offer the tools and knowledge for individuals and organizations to develop a pipeline of balanced, diverse leadership. This global program stimulates a community of collaboration and support surrounding authentic leadership principles; principles that are proven, specific and actionable. Based around the ATHENA Leadership Model, this system ignites the transformative leadership, awareness, skills and means of implementation necessary to thrive in trying times (of pandemic, economic upheaval, and a worldwide movement for racial and economic justice). Leaders who have been most successful in these unprecedented times embody and reflect the Eight principles of Enlightened Leadership that comprise the ATHENA Leadership Model: Live Authentically, Learn Constantly, Build Relationships, Foster Collaboration, Act Courageously, Advocate Fiercely, Give Back and Celebrate.
