Ms. Carrie Peele is a serial entrepreneur with over 35 years in business. Ms. Peele was the founder/CEO of Blue Diamond Worldwide Transportation, the largest woman-owned luxury transportation company in the South.  Currently, Ms. Peele is owner/CEO of Mako Documents, a division of a multi-million dollar medical organization, that stores, scans, shreds and manages a broad range of health information including medical and business records and radiology films.

 

Since 2014, Ms. Peele’s passions include helping women-owned businesses, facilitating Athena of the Triangle, a non-profit organization, and providing mentoring programs for women. Ms. Peele also chairs the Triangle Women Presidents’ Organization. The WPO is the ultimate affiliation for successful women entrepreneurs of privately held multimillion-dollar companies. Ms. Peele is a seasoned public speaker and community organizer. In 2010, she founded and facilitated the Triangle Ladies Power Lunch, a networking luncheon that spotlights women superstars in business.

 

Dr. Lynn Yanyo has 38 years of experience in science, product and market research and commercialization with a BS in Chemical Engineering (Carnegie Mellon Univ) and a PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering. From leading research to managing the product development, manufacturing, quality and launch of the first controllable automotive suspension system using MR fluid, to commercialization of thermal energy management for high-speed chips.

Dr. Yanyo has successfully built global businesses for corporations as well as personal startups. Her experience is highly valued on several corporate and non-profit boards.

Dr. Yanyo is also the Executive Director of the Institute for the Study of Business Markets (ISBM.com), the world leader in business-to-business market research and professional education and she has started and currently runs 8 businesses that range from direct-to-consumer brands to high tech security software.
